Simple dish that can actually be eaten with all kinds of Indonesian recipes. Or as part of an Indian rice table, of course.
Ingredients:
500 gr. green beans (picked up)
1 onion
1 clove garlic
2 tsp ketjap manis
1 tsp ginger powder
2 tsp sambal (more or less, depending on how spicy you want it)
1 tsp coriander powder
200 ml chicken stock (I make it from water with a cube)
200 ml coconut milk
Preparation:
Wash the green beans (this is not necessary for frozen beans).
Make a paste of the onion, garlic, soy sauce, sambal and herbs in the food processor.
Heat a pan with oil and fry the pasta well. Add the green beans and stir-fry them briefly.
Add the stock and coconut milk and bring to the boil.
Let this reduce for about 8-10 minutes over high heat.
If necessary, add salt, but I don’t think it’s necessary.
Enjoy your meal!
