Delicious and quick to make.
The nice thing about Rocky Road is that you can actually do whatever you want in it. But you can also use whatever chocolate you want. I also made Rocky Road from white chocolate with pistachios, marshmallows and (dried) raspberries or cranberries. Also delicious, but completely different.
And there are many more variations that can be imagined.
Ingredients:
200 grams of milk chocolate
300 grams of dark chocolate
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 container bigarreau
3/4 cup nuts (choose which ones you like)
Possibly some extra of the last 3 to decorate.
Preparation:
Melt the chocolate “au bain-marie” or however you find it easiest.
Mix the marshmallows, nuts and bigarreau together in a bowl.
Add this to the melted chocolate and stir well. Possibly now throw the chopped extras over it. Press this lightly so that it is stuck in the chocolate.
Place this in a container that you have previously lined with baking paper (this makes it easier to pour). Place in the refrigerator and let it harden thoroughly. It really takes a few hours.
After it has hardened, remove it from the container and cut it into the desired cubes.
Enjoy your meal.
