A simple and quick one-pan dish. So little washing up. And the nice thing is that I actually have all the ingredients at home.
Dish for 4 people as a main course.
Ingredients:
1 onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
75 ml white wine
400 g (1 can) tomato pieces
250 ml whipped cream
500 g uncooked gnocchi
Salt and pepper
25 grams of parmesan cheese
fresh basil
Preparation:
Chop the onion and finely chop the garlic. Get the rest of the stuff ready.
Heat the pan and add oil.
Fry the onions until they are translucent and soft.
Add the mustard, Italian herbs and garlic and fry briefly. Also add the white wine and let the alcohol evaporate.
Now add the diced tomatoes, whipped cream and gnocchi and bring to the boil. Possibly now add salt and pepper.
When it boils, you can reduce the heat and let everything simmer for another 5 minutes (until the gnocchi is done). At the end, add the cheese and basil cut into strips.
Serve with a tasty (Italian) salad.
Enjoy your meal.
