The old-fashioned cookies that my grandmother used to buy on high days. So good memories.
Ingredients:
Get some macaroons
125 gr. chocolate (lime/strawberry or whatever flavor you like)
125 gr. butter cream mix from Funcakes
125 gr. unsalted butter
125 ml (lukewarm) water
Sprinkles
Preparation:
Make the butter cream according to the instructions on the package with the butter and water.
Place the butter cream in a piping bag with a large round nozzle. Pipe a nice swirl on each macaroon. Place this in the refrigerator for an hour to harden thoroughly.
Melt the chocolate (au bain-marie or in a chocolate melter)
Dip the butter cream into the chocolate and immediately sprinkle with sprinkles. The chocolate hardens quickly due to the cold in the butter cream.
Remove the cookies from the refrigerator an hour before serving so that the butter cream softens a bit.
