This is a dish for 3 to 4 people.
It is a nice, easy and quick recipe. You can cut it in advance and then put it in the oven for 20 minutes. The food is ready!
Ingredients:
Herb mix:
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder (this makes it nice and spicy, less is also possible)
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garlic powder
Further ingredients:
500g Halloumi
3 mixed peppers
1 large onion
Olive oil
6 to 8 wraps
1 avocado
A little Greek yogurt
If necessary (too spicy) lime
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 160°C (convection).
Toss everything in the spice mix together and stir well. Set aside for a moment.
Cut the pepper into thin strips and the onion into rings. Mix this together in a bowl. Add oil and mix again. Add 2/3 of the herbs and mix again. Throw this on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cut the Haloumi into slices and, if necessary, in half again. Mix this also in the bowl with some oil. Mix the rest of the herbs over it and add some more oil. Now set this bowl aside.
Now slide the plate into the oven. After 10 minutes, toss the vegetables and after another 10 minutes everything is ready.
Once the fajitas have been in the oven for the first 10 minutes, cut the avocado into pieces. If necessary, cut the lime into wedges and spoon some Greek yogurt into a container.
After the first 10 minutes, place the grill pan on the heat and let it become very hot. You fry the Haloumi in this pan on a slightly lower heat. Please note that this happens quite quickly and if you bake the cheese for too long it will become hard. It tastes better soft
After this it is a matter of filling the wraps as you wish.
Enjoy your meal.
